Bedroom Makeover Part 1

Entry bergambar. Malas nak taip. Just to jot down that I painted the walls (2 of them) MYSELF! And I should really do another layer but my right shoulder is killing me! Aku buat straight dari pukul 5 petang sampai 10 malam. Break Maghrib kejap je and sebab budak-budak menyibuk.

Masa buat ok... lepas tu masa nak tidur I cannot sleep at all! Bayangkan bangun dari pagi hantar anak sekolah then time tidur pukul 11-12 malam I can't sleep? Pukul 4.45am or 5am baru tido. Then bangun balik cos nak hantar Razin sekolah. Menyesal wehhhh. Baik upah orang huhuhuhu...

Only time will tell. Haha... maybe upah orang kalau murah. 

So today, I went hunting for wallpapers. For the 2 walls.

Tak tau la tema amende, belasah je asal sedap di mataku.

Lagipun it's for the guest room anyway.

I am itching to paint or maybe put a wallpaper dekat guest room.

Now this is my new workplace.

Aku dah pernah upload pic workstation ni kat twitter I guess... the view was beautiful kalau buka tingkap sebelah kiri tu waktu siang. You can see the hills. And I just love seeing green hills! (bukit dah botak aku tak suke)

Aku harap ni jadi tempat kesukaan Razin bila dia dah masuk sekolah rendah nanti untuk buat homework or study. Or... I don't know, maybe the deco the next room je? Cos bilik ni untuk guests actually. 

I bought the small computer table and the chair last month. Kekonon aku nak start balik work from home... tapi laptop plak hampeh. Dah format, tapi still lembab ya rabbi.... Dahla touchpad rosak, wifi rosak (boleh detect tapi takleh stay connected), usb port 1 rosak... so aku kena guna mouse. Sabo jela... ni nak update blog and edit pic pun seksa ya amat.

Aku baru beli wireless mouse sebab rimas dengan wayar bersepah.

Ni jela 2 usb ports yang ada kat laptop. Ade 1 port lagi belah kiri tapi dah rosak.

1 port cucuk benda alah utk wireless mouse.

1 port lagi cucuk WIFI adapter.

Aku nak transfer gambar dari henpon pun takleh guna usb. Terpaksa send pics kat email and download je masuk komputer lol.

Gigih mak tau nak update blog ni wakakakaka...

Takpe, aku baru order USB hub kat Shopee... semoga esok lusa sampai.

Actually aku nak cerita tentang bab nak menceriakan bilik ni. Like I wrote in the beginning, I am itching to paint the bare walls. Or maybe letak wallpaper. Tapi duit mana duit?? T_T

Nampak bulatan merah?

Aku plan nak letak wall floats.

Rak la... tapi... hmmm...

Percaya atau tidak, dalam rumah aku  ni langsung takde rak dinding.

Aku rasa laki aku tak suka cacatkan dinding kot. Cos memang takde. Bilik bawah yang Umi duduk sekarang which used to be my workstation, dah berapa kali aku mintak laki aku drillkan and pasangkan rak. Tapi tetap tak nak. Saboooo jela.

This time aku rasa macam sangat perlu je... Cos I need to put stuffs on it. Especially bekas stationary nih.

Almaklum, tukang menyibuk ramai. huhuhu

And of course the walls. Boring gile color off white sejak dari rumah ni dibuat tahun 2008 dulu. dah 9 tahun tak pernah kena cat kan... I think cat je murah dari pasang wallpapers... ke bukan? hmmmm...

So that's it. I need a new project. I hope we can make this work. Aku dah bosan dengan warna sedia ada. Desperately need a makeover. Haihh if only money grew on trees! 

See, Nini selalu komen aku ni tak reti nak deco rumah la ape la. Hey aku bukan tak reti (well, memang takdela minat sangat actually cos aku fikir praktikal je... anak kecik-kecik lagi nak deco pejadahnye? buat kena conteng je..huh) tapi it's about money. Everything needs money ok. Kalau banyak duit, semua boleh jadi :p

So mari kita jot down ape benda nak kena buat:-

1st sekali, measure bilik. Now where the hell did I put the measuring tape, again?

- buy tape. measure bilik.

2nd, survey harga upah mengecat dan kos pasang wallpaper. Mana murah, itu yang kita amik. kikiki

3rd, dah decide nak kena cat or pasang wallpaper, kena kemas bilik and cover semua benda kesayangan supaya memudahkan orang mengecat/pasang wallpaper.

4th, pasang wall floats!! i need this wahai husband huh...

5th, jom tukar langsir plak. Alang-alang tak pernah tukar. wakakaka...

6th, new beddings for the bed.

7th, new TV for the room cos yang sebelum ni dah bawak pergi homestay untuk ganti tv kat homestay yang rosak! (previous tenant lap dengan kain basah kot. Orang yang repair tu cakap skrin rosak sebab basah. sabaaaaa jelah)

8th, hmmm can't remember.

Eh tapi aku dah decide nak beli new desktop dulu untuk ganti laptop hampeh ni. Cuma kena tunggu sale 25-28 April nanti kat Parade Computer. Hopefully ade yang within budget. Kalau terlebih bajet, kita beli refurbished ones online jela. Ape-ape hal tengok harga time sale dulu.

Well, that's all for now. Razin and Raiq dah join aku kat bilik ni and they're restless.

At the shop now settling some Shopee's order and print all the consignment notes so that Hanis boleh pack je terus bila masuk kedai nanti.

Baru lepas hantar Razin ke taska around 7.45 tadi.

Asyik ulang-ulang baca Surah At-Takasur cos surah tu yang dia tengah hafal kat taska. He's in the Pre Tahfiz (Little Caliphs) by the way.

Aku pun baru tergerak nak google tafsir surah tu.

It made me pause and reflect.

الْهَكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ, حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ, كَلاَّ سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ, ثَمَّ كَلاَّ سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ, كَلاَّ لَوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِيْنِ, لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيْمَ, ثَمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِيْنِ, ثَمَّ لَتُسْئَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيْمِ.

Maksud:

"1. Bermegah-megahan telah melalaikan kamu

2. Sampai kamu masuk ke dalam kubur

3. Janganlah begitu, kelak kamu akan mengetahui (akibat perbuatanmu itu)

4. Dan janganlah begitu, kelak kamu akan mengetahui

5. Janganlah begitu, jika kamu mengetahui dengan pengetahuan yang yakin

6. Niscaya kamu benar-benar akan melihat neraka jahim

7. Dan sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar akan melihatnya dengan 'ainul yaqin

8. Kemudian kamu pasti akan ditanyai pada hari itu tentang kenikmatan (yang kamu megah-megahkan di dunia).

We all need this reminder.

Sometimes you get so caught up in your worldly affairs, you tend to forget that this world is only temporary.

The wealth, the children you have... they are temporary.

Taking a beat

I've been real busy since the last week of March. Really focusing on my work; Mama Panda shop and its little upgrades (finally installed shelves to display carseats), tidying it up (getting rid of 2 years' accumulation of boxes!) and uploading stuff in our Shopee's shop.

Not to mention opening new slots and handling a new bunch of kutu groups.

And of course, juggling being a mother to 3 boys as well.

Gosh. Today I was exhausted and I forgot to pick up Razin from his preschool.

I went to the shop around 11am and I slept!

I don't know what time I slept last night... maybe around 2.30 am? Raul and Raiq were wrestling and didn't want to sleep eventhough it was 11 ish I think... then they wanted their rounds of milk (made em twice! 2 bottles each -_-) and I think they slept around 12.30-1am...

As for me, I was watching reruns of The Vampire Diaries on my phone. Installed iflix and there I was... watching the show again (I've watched it before in 2009-2010). I guess I needed some distraction from my work and the kids... and maybe because I'm so effing tired of cartoons. My God... the endless loop of Upin & Ipin on the TV was driving me crazy.

So padan la muka bangun lambat, hantar Razin lambat and tired at shop. But I needed it! haha... adoiyai... I need distraction to get my mind off things.

Anyway, I hope I can manage my time well after this.

There are several things that stresses me out now though:

1. My weight has gone back up to 78kg!! wtf.... so geram. But my fault jugak. I didn't go to the gym at all this week. And today is already Thursday! Last week pun tak pergi tapi at least aku naik cross trainer kat rumah jugak for 3,4 days in a row. But this week? Nada. Takde mood weh. Rase.... mmm rase takde mood sgt-sgt.

2. Baru format laptop (this is the 2nd time since I bought it) tapi masih berproblem nak connect wifi. Kalau boleh connect pun kejap je.. then mulala keluar Limited lah, No Internet lah. Heyyy bengang gile aku.... Now aku online guna cable LAN cucuk kat unifi punye router/modem watzisname. Bengang ler... nak download balik benda-benda yang aku selalu guna since dah takde bila format. Dahla touchpad laptop ni rosak dah. Sedihh... aku tengah pikir nak beli desktop tapi sayangnye duit. Huhuhu... nak beli refurbished je tapi takut jugak if tak ok. Nanti bazir duit. haihhh

3. Moneyyyy... hahaha... I want money to decorate Razin's room. Well, now dah ade temporary work station for me to do some work at home. Nice view etc. And I'm itching to install wallpapers to its bare walls. And maybe paint it? I was also hoping I could change the drapes in my bedroom, Razin's room and the other room. See? Merapu-rapu je kan, Ade je idea nak ngabih duit. Tapi takde fund pun lagi. T_T

Dengan nak raya lagi... duit tempah baju belum settle lagi ni. Aiyoooo

Movies I love!!

Alhamdulillah. Bertemu kembali di ruangan blog yang hidup segan mati tak mahu ni haha...

Tengah dalam mood nak update blog, maka zasss kita on je blogger.com dari phone.

Aku ni sebenarnya baru lepas tengok movie yang sangat menyentuh perasaan bertajuk "Lion". Baru download so alang-alang abis tengok dua episod The Original tadi, sambung tengok Lion.

Allahu sedih gilebabeng weh. Tersentuh naluri keibuaan aku nih. Bantai mengobak dari AWAL cerita sampai lah ke ending. Feeling nak mampos. Maybe jugak aku tengah period. Emo tak yah cakap la hahahaha

Thank God laki aku balik malam ni kan so aku biar je dia layan budak-budak. As for me, aku lepak guestroom (bilik Razin) dengan meja komputer baru, kerusi baru and some me time heh.



Oh sebelum terlupe, rumahku dah dipasang Unifi semalam! (Khamis actually). So... hepi betul aku cos internet dah laju. Bayangkanlah before this aku punye streamyx hanya pakai yang basic 512k tu weii... 1mbps pun tak sampai. Muahahahahah (jimattt. Lagipun memang tunggu unifi)


Anyway, malam ni tengok Lion kan. Aku bagi 5 bintang.

Semalam lepas settle pasang Unifi bagai, aku pergi tengok wayang citer Beauty & the Beast. Sorang-sorang aku jela cos tak sabar nak tunggu weekend utk tengok dgn Nini. Lambattt. Heheh so tengok terus petang. Kebetulan period, so masuk yang time Maghrib. Pukul 7 .15 hehehe

What can I say about the movie??

IT WAS AWESOME!!

Lantakla orang nak kata EmmaWatson nyanyi tak sedap ke ape, bagi aku ok je (aku tone deaf? So what heh)

I was beaming like crazy while watching it. Sakit pipi aku cos aku asyik senyum and sengih. Nasibaik kiri kanan aku takde orang haha... the feeling was so awesome.

Mind you, citer kartun dia memang favorite! Siap hafal semua lagu2 dia ok. So since real life movie sama je mcm kartun (ade a few new songs though), I sang a long! Hahaha

Hepi sangat semalam lepas tengok cite tu.

Malam ni bantai mengobak plak ye.

That's the life of a movie buff like me (kalau ade masa laa)
