AIA - EONBANK Insurance Scheme. DO NOT AGREE. EVER!

Aku nak mengamuk hari ni. So kalau aku menyumpah-nyumpah and mencarut-carut tu sila jangan nak terasa terganggu. Kalau tak suka orang mencarut, leh klik 'X'.

Pernah dengar tentang AIA-Eonbank Insurance scheme?

Sape-sape yang takde kad kredit Eonbank maybe tak pernah dengar.

Sebab tu aku nak tulis kat blog supaya nanti orang google-google akan jumpa blog aku ni. Ni aku bukan nak tunjuk kebodohan aku yang 'terkena' (ade jugak la sikit-sikit. kahkahkah) tapi untuk rujukan orang lain sebelum terkena. :P


Kesnya begini:

Someone from AIA will call your phone dan offer untuk amik insurans ngan diorang. Simple je bendanya, diorang akan deduct payment from credit card selama berapa tahun yang kita setuju. Insurans punyer policy takyah tanya aku cos sampai ke sudah aku tak dapat-dapat. Macam celaka ok. Dahle masa 1st time tefon tu dalam kereta so dengar-dengar gitu jela. Aku ni pun bangang pergi setuju kena deduct RM75 setiap bulan selama.. ntah tak ingat. 9 tahun kot.

Aku tak ingat cos call yang aku terima tu was last year! DECEMBER 2010 ok! Aku agree pun cos setakat RM75 sebulan tu ok jela... ade coverage itu ini (dah lupe actually)

Dia kata dalam masa 30 hari aku akan dapat policy contract. Ok, xpe... tunggu jela...

Selain dari sebab tu, aku google Internet tak jumpa lak ape-ape info tentang collaboration AIA and Eonbank ni. Yela, nak check la ape kebenda yang aku sign up tapi TOTALLY NADA. Nothing in the Internet... (aku check masa Januari 2011)

Tup-tup, 1st February aku kena charged RM75 pada kad kredit. Siot jer... dengan ape-ape policy takde, tetiba caj aku. Ok, takpe. Ni sebab aku agree on the phone tu ke? cilake punyer Coco (nama orang yang call aku tu). Ko kata nak pos policy, ni ape kes aku tak dapat2 lagi ni???

So, ape lagi, bermula la emel-emel ngan pihak AIA. Kalau korang bace, mesti korang tau betapa panasnye hati aku.. wei, RM75 tu DUIT jugak wei! Sesuka hati nak caj aku tapi dokumen tak bagi ape kes??

nak call, asyik la busy je manjang. So nak senang aku EMEL.

This is the 1st email I sent them:

hi, My name is NOR RAIHANA and my mobile number is 012-xxx xxxx This is the 2nd time i'm emailing you so I hope there will be a reply via email. I received a call from one of your agent named Coco from 03-2036 6888 on 24th December 2010. He called me because I am one of Eonbank's credit card holders and there was some kind of promotion for insurance in collaboration with AIA.

To cut the story short, I agreed to be charged RM75 a month for 9 years. And my credit card was charged for the first time on
1st Feb 2011. I was surprised to be charged when I haven't received any documents or policy to give me better understanding on what I signed up for. The call on 24th Dec was all I received and explained on. Of course I want a hardcopy/policy mailed to me for better reference. So I emailed you to ask about it.

Few days after that, I received a call by someone (from AIA) asking me whether I was charged or not and I said yes.
But I was a bit angry on WHY HAVEN'T I received any doc/policy?? Then, he told me I will received the policy/hardcopy doc in 30 days time from the date I was charged. Today is already the 7th of March 2011 but I still haven't received anything. U have charged me, so please let me know the details. That's all I'm asking for. I just want to know this is not a scam, and it's legit!

I wish I can check in your website about what I have agreed to be charged on but I don't even have my copy of policy! No policy number, no policy name! Just the info that it's something to do with Eonbank's credit card holder.
I have a recorded conversation with your agent on 24th Dec 2010 and I will take action if there is still no news from you. That was all the information I know about this 'insurance'.

If contacting me is too much trouble, I want to cancel everything and I want a refund on what you have charged me.
Attached is the copy of credit card statement, a proof that you have charged me on the 1st Feb. SO PLEASE REPLY THIS EMAIL ASAP.

Email and a telephone call is appreciated. I want a feedback email for my reference.

Please arrange for the cancellation of whatever it is you're charging me.

I want a refund of the charges you did without my consent. read: you did not send me any doc/policy after the 1st email i sent (refer the bottom of this email) and nobody tried to reply my previous email.

I need to send several times then only you take some actions??
Your service sucks, you're causing me headache and too much trouble and I don't want to have anything to do with your company anymore. Please refund everything or at least the double charges u did on March!

This is the first time I was treated like this by a company with such big name. Such shame.

Emel ni takde reply.

Aku risau diorang tak terminate je policy aku ni. Kang dok caj lagi! So, lepas emel benda alah di atas, aku pun PRINT semua emel-emel antara aku dan mereka. YA, SILA PRINT.

Aku kumpul semua dan POS ke alamat diorang kat Menara AIA KL dengan ATTENTION to MANAGER (bahagian Customer Relations). Settle satu benda.

Aku pos pada 1 April then seminggu lepas tu dapat reply VIA POST (boleh plak ko pos?? sampai je kat umah aku????)

Kena pos bagai baru ko took actions!


Sekali kau, bulan April pun tiba and bila aku check statement kad kredit, AKU KENA CAJ LAGI!!! babi betul. cilaka! cam gampang ok!

Padahal sebelum tu AIA dah call kata nak cancel/terminate. Email pun dapat. Tapi kenapa caj lagi? Sebab sistem?? tak efisyen betul la korang ni!!!

CELAKA!! bengang betul aku tapi nak tak nak kena tunggu jugak arrr... babi!


Sape-sape yang terkena tu (aku tau ada cos kat twitter tadi macam ada yang kena jugak je... heheheh), buat macam aku buat. POS je komplen korang tu kat Manager. Ade kat laman web AIA. Selagi tak dapat policy kita dah terminat in black and white, selagi tu kena caj kot?

Nak jadi citer, last week aku dapat call dari sorang minah dari AIA nak offer aku benda ni. HELLO!!! aku dah pernah sign up ok! So tak pasal-pasal minah tu kena sembur ngan aku. Tergagap-gagap bila aku tanya itu ini. Wakakakaka...

So korang, sekarang ni musim diorang nak call orang. My advise is, JANGAN ACCEPT!

Nak insurans sila pergi Prudential... ramai orang rekemen Prudential.

insurans2 via phone call ni aku dah tak caye dah.. minggu lepas rasanya ada gak yg call aku pasal insurans.. aku layan je smpai henpon aku bunyi2 nk abis bateri.. last2 aku ckp taknak.. punya la lama bercakap dgn org insurans tu.. bleh syok plak aku dok dgr, tanye, soal, jawab dengan dia.. hahaha..

dah 2 kali kot aku penah kene kencing dgn org insurans.. duit burn gitu je.. byk plak tu.. org keje insurans ni memang cilake (yang menipu)..

Aku mmg x caya klu org offer insuran guna phone ni...xkisah la dia ada promo gempak..lagi rela aku g cari agen jumpa face to face.....

Just tambahan, klu ada org call kata service center credit card nak verify card.....promoter je tu sebenarnya..once bagi info start diorang deduct credit card...aku pernah sekali gaduh ngan org yg call ni...boleh plak dia ugut2 aku..wtf

Hopefully kes kita ni blh jd pengajaran terutama card holder baru...

prudential is a best insurance so far.. sbb if u do minor surgery pun bleh claim..seronok jer like me..
so better jumpa agent berlesen utk hal2 insurance sbb bila kt sakit msk hospital, agent yg daftarkan kt ni lah yg tlg buat smua document and tlg kt handle benda2 yg mungkin kt tak tahu..
and for u having baby already, is the best to take insurance for ur baby since kecik...

slalu jugak dpt call cam gini... nyampah betul...org ckp tak nak dia kata rugi la, apa la.. ada jugak dari syrikat untk kad2 diskaun dok hotel..umrah..servis keta...yg tu x payah la, sbb ct penah join 1 kad tu celebrity card dari newvenus..nak dapatkan diskaun hotel punya la susah..kena call sana sini buang kredit ja..

ada peg waren (navy) kat opis ct ni baru semalam terima surat dari lawyer pasai insuran AIA ni jugak (eon bank) dia dah teminate kad kredit tu 3thn lps tapi bulan ni ada sampai statment kad tu lagi yg caj ins AIA tu sampai rm600... cam na depa leh plak caj ke kad yg dah di teminate...heran betul...

but then, maybe sbb policy ngan AIA tak terminate kot? ermmm saya mls nk terminate2 kad kredit n buat baru that's y deal dengan AIA je. and mmg seminggu sekali check statement credit card secara online :P

hmmm harap2 setel la benda ni... serik btl..

bab kad2 diskaun pun penah jer diorg call.. byk kali gak la tp wat xlyn, letak phone terus...n mmg diorg xcall dah pastu. hihi

kebetulan baru je kejap tadi org yg claim dari aia-eonbank call. time keje camni call. tak de masa la aku nak layan. org tgh bz buat keje.

dari salam pengenalan dia aku dah dapat agak.. mesti nak offer insuran or discount card, etc. "Helo..(atau Assalamualaikum..) boleh saya bercakap dengan Cik XXXX XXXXXXXX Binti XXXX XXXXX? Cik pemegang kad kredit dari bank blabla kan? sebagai tanda penghargaan, kami nk bagi offer ni utk pemegang kad kredit yg terpilih sahaja....bla bla". Ha.. kalau cara diorg intro lebih kurang camtu.. dan apa2 yg diorg offer tu melibatkan cas kad kredit, kena waspada.. baik jgn percaya. skarang ni mcm2 taktik pihak tak bertanggungjawab pakai nk tipu duit org.

ni sbb dah 2 tahun lebih pakai credit card so aku dh biasa.. lps dgr intro diorg nk ckp pasal apa, terus aku ckp tak nak / tak berminat. masa awal2 dapat kad kredit dulu (biasa la belum ada pengalaman) hampir2 gak aku termakan ckp diorg. nasib la last minute instinct aku ckp jgn caya..

Salam, eiii...camner nie-kalo dah bagi number debit kad yg timbul kat depan tuh + IC tp tak agree lagi kat AKAD (menatang yg dia panggil tuh kan)...camner yerk?...dah bagi kad info tp tak agree...dia akan debit tak duit tuh?...

Debit card pun ada ke?
Setau saya, kalau kad debit, kad tu kena physically ada masa nak caj (mcm kompeni ku... that's y xterima debit card, kena ada credit card jgk)

saya xsure la dia leh caj ke x.. kalau ikutkan mmg xleh..

Nak dipendekkan cerita,2-3 hari lepas ada agent AIA offer insurans kat aku.die nye monthly around rm36. aku pelik kenapa die nak sgt aku amik insuran nie.tp dlm masa yg same,aku rase berat gle nak agree. mcm2 aku buat utk die give up,aku ckp kad rosak la blablabla.tp die still tak give up..

So hari nie hati aku tergerak nak google bende ni. tetibe ada blog tentang nie.Thanks guys.aku rase esok die call aku lg kot.mmg aku deny la .thanks sangat2 !!

Mmm kalau dah jd cmtu,tgg jela kad kredit kena caj. Pastu kalo dh kena caj, call or complain la blk kat AIA mcm i buat tu utk terminate semua benda. :)

Mmmg bank xleh buat ape2. diorg leh replace new credit card jela. yg dh caj tu kira burn. so sbb tu kena direct dispute dgn syarikat insurans tu sendiri.

Yup, memang dia akan caj dari kad kredit awak nnt. Awak kena call/emel/htr surat pada AIA sendiri kata nk terminate. nnt diorg refund semula... tp prosesnye lama la (mcm sy citer kt entry blog ni). kena bersabar la... huhu
